Daniel established Evolution Infrastructure in 2022 with his fellow partners after gaining over 20 years project and infrastructure finance experience during his time at DWPF and Serco.

Daniel has advised clients across the accommodation, waste, health, defence, transport and energy sectors amongst others, working on primary transactions, restructurings, buy and sell-side mandates as well as general consultancy engagements.

Recently Daniel has closed seven PPP refinancing mandates in the streetlighting and schools sectors, predominantly structuring and arranging the senior debt packages, whilst also having acted for a Council to ensure it received value-for-money from the private sector’s proposal. Daniel has also provided financial advice on a number of large waste sector projects, arranging the finance for the North Wales Energy from Waste facility.

Daniel’s diverse experience in the infrastructure sector has seen him selected as an expert witness for the public sector on a major European PPP dispute, as well as having advised both public and private sector clients on a number of commercial disputes on PPP projects.

Clients have included infrastructure funds such as Equitix, Amber Infrastructure, InfraRed, DIF, John Laing and 3i, project sponsors such as Enfinium, Renewi, Hochtief, Wilmott Dixon, and Galliford Try, and local authorities and universities.

Daniel began his career at KPMG in 1998 where he trained as a Chartered Accountant. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
