Ramon Sequeira

As a director in the financial advisory team Ramon has advised clients across a wide range of sectors, with a key focus on social infrastructure. including higher education, waste and energy, working on primary transactions, restructurings, as well as buy-side acquisitions.

Recently Ramon advised DIF Capital Partners on its acquisition of a portfolio of 8 operational student accommodation assets. The portfolio of 4,500 beds, across 7 key cities in the UK, was a major acquisition in the sector in 2023. Ramon has also recently provided financial advice on a number of other student accommodation developments, such as Equitix and ENGIE’s £100m PPP scheme at Kingston University.

Across other sectors Ramon’s experience includes advising on energy-from-waste projects and refinancings of PFI projects, as well as development of bespoke financial models.

Clients have included infrastructure funds and investors such as Equitix, DIF, InfraRed, John Laing and 3i, and local authorities and universities.

Ramon began his career at Operis in 2009, developing his financial advisory and modelling capabilities, before moving to Vinci Investments where he focused on financial modelling for operational UK infrastructure projects.
