Vianney has been with Evolution Infrastructure since its inception in 2022, after gaining 5 years of project and infrastructure finance experience at DWPF and EDF.

Vianney has been involved in numerous financial advisory and modelling mandates across the student accommodation, waste, health, transport and energy sectors, for acquisition, appraisal and financial reporting purposes as well as greenfield financings and refinancings.

Most recently Vianney has been involved in various financial advisory engagements including the acquisition of a large-portfolio of UK student accommodation assets and the refinancing of two UK PFI school projects. Vianney has also supported in the development of an operational financial model for a portfolio of onshore windfarms, several transaction models for waste projects, corporate modelling for regulated gas assets in Portugal and appraisal modelling for a hydrogen plant in Scotland.

Vianney was recently seconded to a large-cap infrastructure asset manager as lead financial modeller to work on the successful debt restructuring of a UK biomass plant. Vianney also has experience supporting our training courses, recently delivering a course in Paris for the analytical team at a leading infrastructure fund.

Vianney first gained experience in the construction sector as a project engineer working on the construction of a waste treatment plant. He also worked at Cisco on smart cities projects during his studies. Following this he developed a strong knowledge of the energy sector working at EDF Energy as an innovation analyst, analysing emerging investment trends and disruptive start-ups.

Vianney holds a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from ESTP Paris and in Urban Policy and Planning from Sciences Po, Paris.
